UK to Vietnam golf

The finest golf trip
a UK golfer can book.

Vietnam has quietly become one of the finest golf destinations available to UK travellers. Da Nang's coastal courses rival anything in Southeast Asia. Ho Chi Minh City offers a compelling gateway with layouts of genuine championship quality. Phu Quoc provides the perfect island finish — unhurried, warm and quite unlike anywhere you have played before.

Golf Vietnam UK was set up and is managed by a British expat who has been living in Southeast Asia for the best part of a decade. He relocated to Vietnam, built relationships with the country's finest courses, and knows this corner of the world inside out. This is not a booking platform. Every UK to Vietnam golf itinerary is planned with direct, on-the-ground knowledge — the right tee times, the right hotels, and the kind of detail that only comes from actually being here.

For UK golfers, Vietnam represents something rare: a destination that is genuinely world-class, unhurried, and still exceptional value. Fly from London or Manchester, land in Ho Chi Minh City, and from that point everything is taken care of.

Before you book

Common questions.

Do I need a visa to visit Vietnam? +
UK passport holders receive 45 days visa-free entry to Vietnam. No application or advance arrangement is required — simply a valid passport with at least six months remaining validity. For those wishing to extend beyond 45 days, an e-visa can be arranged in advance through the Vietnamese government portal.
What is the ideal time of year to visit Da Nang? +
November through April represents Da Nang's dry season — temperatures of 22–28°C, minimal rainfall and excellent course conditions throughout. This coincides with the UK winter, making it an ideal escape. Phu Quoc is favourable year-round, though November to May offers the most reliable weather.
Is it practical to travel with my own clubs? +
Entirely. Most UK golfers choose to bring their own clubs. The major carriers operating the route — Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines — have clear golf bag policies, and charges vary by airline and fare class. All courses in our portfolio also offer quality club hire. We advise on the most suitable approach based on your specific itinerary.
What does the green fee include? +
All packages include green fee, buggy and a dedicated caddie. Caddies are universal in Vietnam and are a genuine asset — they carry your bag, read every green and know each course with exceptional precision. A gratuity of approximately 200,000–300,000 VND (£6–10) at the conclusion of your round is customary and warmly received.
How do payments and deposits work? +
We accept card payment, bank transfer and cash in all major currencies including GBP, EUR and USD. A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure tee times and hotel reservations, with the balance due typically four to six weeks before travel. Full payment details are provided during the enquiry process.
Can itineraries be adjusted to suit our group? +
Everything is adjustable. The itineraries presented are our most requested combinations, not fixed products. Different courses, hotel preferences, travel dates and group sizes can all be accommodated. We would encourage you to reach out with your specific requirements and we will build accordingly.
What is the best way to get in touch? +
WhatsApp is the most direct channel — you will reach a person immediately and receive a prompt response. The enquiry form on this page works equally well for detailed requests. We are also reachable by email and phone during Vietnam business hours (UTC+7).
